In the New Mexico badlands, a skeleton is discovered and assigned to FBI Agent Corrie Swanson. The victim walked into the desert shedding clothes and died from heatstroke and thirst. Two rare lightning stones—artifacts used by the ancient Chaco people to summon the gods—are found clutched in her hands. The death raises questions of suicide or sacrifice.
