Catch the Sun is a YA/crossover standalone romance about two childhood friends reunited during their senior year of high school. Ella Sunbury and Max Manning were inseparable at age seven until Ella's family moved away. A decade later, she returns to town and moves across the street from Max. However, Ella has changed significantly. Her brother is a notorious felon on death row, convicted of a crime that received national attention. Struggling with the fallout and rejection from her peers, Ella hopes to remain unnoticed. Max is occupied with caring for his disabled father and managing a distant relationship with his twin brother. When Ella returns, Max feels drawn to reconnect with her and develop their friendship into romance. As their relationship grows, tragedy strikes again, threatening their bond.
