Damselfly: A Novel

Samantha Mishra wakes up alone and injured in a jungle with no memory of how she got there. A plane carrying her, her best friend Mel, and the Drake Rosemont fencing team was traveling across the Pacific to a tournament when something went wrong. After finding the other survivors, Sam and her companions establish shelter and wait for rescue. As days pass, the group realizes rescue may not come. Stranded on an island, they encounter a mysterious presence that taunts and threatens them. The teens must confront not only the challenges of survival in the jungle, but also the tensions and conflicts that arise among themselves. This novel combines cinematic and intimate storytelling in a survival narrative set on an island.
