About this book

It is 1985. Detective Inspector Mungo 'Bob' Willis is being forced out of Avon and Somerset Police on medical grounds. Their last case has been closed, but Bob believes an innocent man was framed for the murders. Bob is convinced a serial killer remains at large, targeting lone women stranded on the A303 late at night. The killer operates freely, knowing police are no longer investigating the crimes. When another woman is killed under similar circumstances, Bob begins his own unofficial investigation. Bob must determine what steps he will take to stop the killer before more women die.
