About this book

Eric Frost is a bio-robotics researcher drawn to Madagascar for its diverse plant and animal life. When he discovers an obscure book called Unseen Madagascar by missing British author Richard Walters, he learns of Demon Island, a mysterious location off Madagascar's coast. According to the text, the island is home to an isolated, hostile native tribe that guards something in the island's interior. Eric recruits his friends Ivy and Max to investigate. Upon arriving in Madagascar to plan their expedition, they encounter Daniel, a self-proclaimed American explorer who offers cryptic warnings and fragmented accounts. Daniel eventually agrees to help them reach Demon Island, though not without conditions. Demon Island is the first book in Lenard Hale's series, combining science fiction and adventure elements as Eric and his companions embark on a quest to uncover the island's secrets.
