About this book

Four linked stories follow Dale Ravenhall and a network of telepaths scattered across North America. These individuals can communicate mentally across hundreds of miles, but proximity within twenty miles of each other creates fatal mental pressure. This constraint forces them to maintain a carefully structured community. When one of the telepaths is murdered, their delicate balance begins to collapse. The world of Dale and his distant friends was first introduced in "Red Thoughts at Morning" (1981), followed by "Dark Thoughts at Noon" and "Black Thoughts at Midnight." Distant Telepaths concludes the saga with a new original story, "Bright Thoughts at Dawn."
