Encounter with Tiber (Hayden Tilden)

Chris Terence, born the year of the Moon landing, dedicates his life to returning humanity to space exploration. As an engineering student with dreams of spaceflight, he discovers upon graduation that the United States no longer needs astronauts. Budget constraints and bureaucratic obstacles have severely diminished the space program, and only a major scientific discovery could reignite human spaceflight. After years of fighting for funding, Chris finally achieves his goal of walking on the Moon. There, he discovers evidence of an ancient alien civilization called the Tiberians, who visited Earth's moon eight thousand years before. This discovery sets Chris and his son on a lifelong quest to understand what happened to these visitors and to unlock the secrets of the universe.
