Kissing the Sky: A Novel

Kissing the Sky follows Suzannah, a young woman home from college during the summer of 1969. While her peers embrace free love and rock music, Suzannah remains confined by her conservative Southern household and her domineering father's disapproval of rock music. When her free-spirited best friend Livy reappears, she convinces Suzannah, a talented singer, to join her for three days at a music festival in upstate New York.
