Larroggio: Tales of Morla 1

Albrech Miller is the younger child of Larroggio's miller. He has grown up learning mill operations and has been trained by his mother to become an adventurer, preparing him for when he can access his status sheet and begin adventuring independently. When Albrech and his two friends, Lyr and Charlie, venture into their forest zone for the first time unsupervised, they encounter unusually powerful monsters for that area. The abnormal activity suggests a monster surge may be approaching their town. Tales of Morla is set in a system world where most adventurers do not adventure full-time. They maintain other occupations and crafts to support themselves while managing politics, weather, taxes, relationships, personal growth, family responsibilities, and loss. Unknown to the characters, different regions operate under distinct systems that function differently and may conflict with one another. These systems encourage adventuring, as EP serves as the currency used in their hidden competitions with each other.
