Leviathan Volume 1

The Leviathan, an enormous spaceship, drifts abandoned in a distant galaxy. When looters break into the vessel, they discover a diary written by Kazuma, a middle-schooler who documented the fate of the ship's passengers. As they read, the looters realize a survivor may still be aboard. Through Kazuma's account, readers learn of a school trip to Earth that ended in tragedy when explosions damaged the hull. Trapped in space with limited oxygen, the students and their teacher face impossible choices. With only one cryopreservation unit available for survival, the group descends into conflict as friendships fracture and alliances crumble. Each person must confront the value of their own life as they struggle against one another for the single chance at survival. The narrative explores whether humanity can endure when faced with such desperate circumstances, and what kind of survivor the looters ultimately discover decades later. Volume 1 in the series, this manga combines survival horror with science fiction elements and detailed illustrations.
