Long Live Evil (Time of Iron Book 1)

Long Live Evil is a portal fantasy adventure in which the protagonist enters the world of her favorite fantasy series after making a magical bargain. She wakes in a castle on the edge of a hellish chasm, in a kingdom on the brink of war, populated by dangerous monsters and scheming courtiers. Rae discovers she is not the heroine of this world, but the villainess in the Emperor's tale—a character she recognizes as her favorite fictional character from the books. Rather than accept this role passively, she assembles a group of villains, including an axe-wielding maid, a shining knight with dark moods, a homicidal bodyguard, and a playboy spymaster, under her leadership to plot against their predetermined fates. As the body count rises and the Emperor's fury increases, Rae and her allies face the question of whether they will survive to reach the story's end.
