About this book

Malice is the first book in The Faithful and the Fallen series. Young Corban watches other boys train to become warriors and dreams of wielding sword and spear to protect his king's realm. The Banished Lands has a violent history marked by battles between armies of men and giants, whose ruined fortresses still scar the landscape. Though the giant-clans were defeated in ancient times, giants are stirring again. The very stones weep blood, and giant wyrms have been sighted. Those who can read the signs recognize a threat greater than any ancient war: sorrow will darken the world as angels and demons turn it into their battlefield, leading to a war to end all wars.
