Moving Pictures: A Discworld Novel

Movie mania sweeps across the Discworld, creating disaster in its wake. The alchemists of Ankh-Morpork have discovered how to extract gold from silver—the silver screen. The growing "clicks" industry soon relocates to Holy Wood, a sandy land drawn by the sun's light and a strange, unnamed calling. Victor Tugelbend, a wizarding student dropout who cannot sing or dance, dreams of becoming a star, as does Theda "Ginger" Withel, a small-town girl. However, the magic of moving pictures extends beyond the Discworld itself.
