Newlyweds Tricia and Ethan are house hunting when they visit a remote manor that once belonged to Dr. Adrienne Hale, a renowned psychiatrist who disappeared four years earlier. A violent winter storm traps them at the estate with no way to leave until the blizzard ends. Searching for something to read, Tricia discovers a secret room containing audio transcripts from all of Dr. Hale's patient interviews. As she listens to the cassette tapes late into the night, Tricia uncovers the chain of events that led to Dr. Hale's mysterious disappearance. With each tape, another piece of the puzzle emerges and Dr. Hale's web of lies begins to unravel. The final cassette reveals the entire truth behind what happened.
