One of Us Is Lying

Five students at Bayview High enter detention on Monday afternoon: Bronwyn, a Yale-bound honor student; Addy, the homecoming princess; Nate, who is on probation for dealing; Cooper, a star baseball pitcher; and Simon, creator of the school's gossip app. Simon does not leave the classroom alive. Investigators determine his death was not an accident. Simon had planned to post damaging information about his four high-profile classmates on Tuesday, making each of them suspects in his murder. However, the question remains whether they are the actual killers or convenient suspects while the real murderer remains at large. The story explores the secrets each character holds and how far they might go to protect them. The book has been adapted into a television series.
