Pandora's Clock

A commercial aircraft carrying a passenger infected with a highly contagious pathogen searches for a place to land. After a confrontation with a man on a snowy German road, Ernest Helms sustains a cut on his hand. Hours later, he collapses aboard a flight from Frankfurt to New York. Pilot Captain James Holland radios London to arrange an emergency landing to help Helms, but both Heathrow and German authorities refuse permission, fearing the spread of the ultracontagious disease.
