Spindrift (The Coyote Universe Book 4)

In 2288, Earth scientists detect a transmission from outside the solar system. Europe's first starship, the EASS Galileo, is sent to investigate. Its nine-person crew discovers an unidentified object called Spindrift and begins investigating its origins. More than fifty years later in 2344, three crew survivors—Ted Harker, Emily Collins, and Jared Ramirez—return to Earth. They have not aged during their absence. Each claims to have made first contact with an alien species and to have encountered a larger universe filled with dangers and conflicts previously unknown to humanity. Director General John Shillinglaw must examine the three different accounts from the Galileo's survivors to determine what truly happened during their encounter with aliens and what implications this holds for humanity's future.
