Such Quiet Girls: A Thriller

Ten children are abducted in broad daylight and buried alive. Sage and her sister, along with other children from Bus 315, are taken on their way home from school. New bus driver Jessa, who was transporting the children, blames herself for the abduction. She carries guilt from failing to protect her own daughter three years earlier. Jessa and the children are trapped in a shipping container buried twenty feet underground. The kidnappers claim the children will be freed once ransom is paid, provided everyone cooperates. However, Jessa and Sage doubt they will survive long enough. The container is dark and cramped, and with each passing minute, breathing becomes increasingly difficult. With time and oxygen running out, Jessa and the children must find a way to outwit their captors or face a fatal outcome. The novel was inspired by actual events.
