Suffering Is Never for Nothing

Suffering comes to everyone in life without clear explanation. When faced with hardship, it can either devastate or become a path to gratitude and joy. Elisabeth Elliot experienced profound loss: her first husband, Jim, was murdered by the Waoroni people in Ecuador shortly after arriving to share the gospel, and her second husband died of cancer.
