Massive solar flares send an electromagnetic pulse to Earth, instantly disabling all electrical devices. Set in the same world as the author's earlier work The Pulse, this novel follows the two teenagers as they navigate the dangers of a lawless landscape, examining the fragility of a technology-dependent society.
