Working alongside his sergeant Atherton, Slider investigates six cases across Hammersmith and Shepherd's Bush: a dead BBC correspondent in his flat, a murdered teenage girl on Wormwood Scrubs, a missing young woman from a bedsit, and a man found exsanguinated in a Victorian bathtub, among others. Each case involves multiple suspects, secrets, and the complexities of London life that Slider methodically pieces together. These novels are books 11-16 in the series but can be read independently. The box set includes: Game Over, Fell Purpose, Body Line, Kill My Darling, Blood Never Dies, and Hard Going.
