The Family: A Suspense Thriller

Reed Mattox and his K-9 partner, Billie, are summoned to the residence of Ohio Governor Thomas Cowan. They expect another dispute over their role as liaisons between the Columbus Police Department and the state Bureau of Criminal Investigations. Instead, they discover a legitimate case unlike anything they have encountered. A friend and associate of the governor has been kidnapped, sedated, and tattooed across his forehead with a single word: PRIDE. When a second victim appears the next day bearing the word GREED, followed by a third with SLOTH, a pattern emerges. The victims are being branded with the seven deadly sins, have no obvious connections to each other, and are scattered across the state. Reed and Billie launch an urgent investigation to prevent further attacks.
