The Forest on the Edge of Time

Echo and Hazel are recruited by Project Kairos, a mysterious organization tasked with changing history to prevent ecological disaster. The two women are transported through time to opposite worlds: Echo becomes a healer's assistant in Ancient Athens, navigating dangerous politics and philosophy, while Hazel finds herself as the last human alive in a laboratory on a polluted island, accompanied only by tiny robots and an untrustworthy AI. Both women suffer from amnesia, but when they sleep, their consciousnesses transcend time and they meet in their dreams. Through these encounters, they begin to piece together their past—only to discover that their history holds consequences for humanity's survival. The Forest on the Edge of Time explores themes of family and duty, and the worlds we attempt to preserve. The novel is sold without Digital Rights Management Software (DRM) applied.
