The Forever Tree

Will Lassater arrives in California intending to build a logging empire, but unexpectedly falls in love with the land itself. When he meets Santana, a Spanish woman, he sees in her the beauty and richness of the country he wishes to possess but does not fully understand. Santana believes Will is the only man she could ever love. Their relationship faces significant obstacles: generations of tradition and a powerful Spanish don who has promised to kill any man who pursues his intended bride. As Will's dream of establishing Lassater Mills comes to fruition, he resolves to risk everything to be with Santana. Though love cannot shield them from vengeful enemies or the upheaval transforming the land, it may provide them the strength to face an uncertain future and find the courage to rebuild amid tragedy.
