About this book

In 1930s Greenwich Village, Jerry and Pamela North discover a dead man in the bathtub of their upstairs apartment. The body has been bludgeoned and stripped naked. The Norths had planned to host a cocktail party in the empty space, but the discovery forces them to cancel. Despite knowing they should stay out of it, the Norths become drawn into investigating the death. Their involvement pulls them into a manhunt that transforms their quiet neighborhood.
