About this book

The Prodigal is the first book in the Corpse Whisperer series. It was a 2021 Imadjinn Award finalist. Allie Nighthawk is a zombie hunter returning to Cincinnati hoping for a fresh start. Instead, she becomes entangled in two murders, widespread chaos, and numerous zombie encounters. As she navigates these threats, she discovers that some of the people she trusted may not be trustworthy, and a figure from her past has unexpectedly returned. Allie must manage encounters with the undead and other dangers while trying to survive the situation. The story combines action with humor and darker elements, centering on Allie's perspective as someone who works with the dead.
