The Twin Paradox

The Twin Paradox is set in a remote stretch of Texas coast where time moves at an altered rate—ten years pass for every three minutes. This time distortion, created by government efforts to slow down time, has resulted in planes falling from the sky, evolved species hunting, and deaths within a newly formed and dangerous ecosystem. Governments pursue scientific breakthroughs and technological advantages, processes that require time. When the experiment goes wrong, the consequences unfold over five days. The novel explores themes of self-acceptance, self-confidence, and natural selection while examining the question of nature versus nurture. At its core, the story asks: Do we get to choose who we are?
