About this book

A.D. 30 is an epic novel set in the deserts of Arabia and ancient Palestine, following a conflict between kingdoms both earthly and internal. Maviah, the outcast daughter of a powerful Bedouin sheikh, is called to protect the people who rejected her. After enemies attack with devastating results, she escapes with two of her father's warriors: Saba, a swordsman of few words, and Judah, a Jew from a star-reading tribe. Their journey across the deadly desert sands leads them to a world ruled by kings and emperors. Maviah must forge an alliance with King Herod of the Jews to save her people. However, her path intersects with Yeshua, an enigmatic teacher who speaks of a way of life offering power greater than any kingdom. His teachings challenge everything she knows. Though following him brings greater danger, his way may be Maviah's only path to salvation for her people and herself.
