Barsk: The Elephants' Graveyard

In a distant future where humans are extinct, sentient animals uplifted into intelligent beings inhabit the galaxy. The Fant are anthropomorphic elephants exiled to Barsk, a rainy world where they are ostracized by other species. Despite their isolation, the Fant produce essential medicines that all species depend on, most notably Koph—a drug that enables users to communicate with the recently deceased. A shadowy group forces the Fant to surrender their knowledge and control of Koph. A Fant named Jorl is compelled to question his deceased best friend, who committed suicide years earlier under mysterious circumstances. Through this contact with the dead, Jorl discovers a secret that powerful forces want to remain hidden. Meanwhile, Pizlo, the physically challenged son of Jorl's dead friend, experiences disturbing visions that drive him toward an uncertain future.
