Owen Stone is a six-foot-two single dad and NHL player navigating a trade to a new city. He needs housing for himself, his seven-year-old daughter, his psychic sister, and his bloodhound. When his teammate's cousin offers to let him move in, Owen meets Gina Bradford, a champion dog groomer and judge with a pure-bred show poodle.
