Death of the Couch Potato's Wife

Laura Berry, a city dweller now living as a suburban housewife in Boring, Indiana, struggles to adjust to her new life, which she moved to in order to fulfill her husband's dream. She questions whether she is depressed or simply bored. This changes when Laura discovers her neighbor dead on her sofa. Using her crisis-management instincts and natural suspicion, she begins investigating the death. When the killer turns their attention toward her, her investigation becomes a matter of survival. Determined to find out who killed her neighbor with poisoned pork rinds, Laura continues her search for answers despite pressure to stop. She is resolved to solve the mystery before she becomes another victim in her suburban community.
