About this book

Electric Angel is set in 2107, a dystopian world where megacorporations and their leaders live in comfort while most people struggle to survive. Juliet Bianchi works in a scrapyard, earning barely enough to get by. She maintains hope and optimism despite her circumstances and has a small group of loyal friends. When Juliet witnesses what appears to be a failed kidnapping, the victim defeats his attackers and gives her a stolen AI chip before dying. This chip grants her unexpected power and skills she struggles to understand or control, pulling her into a dangerous underground world where simply surviving is a victory. Juliet has never been aggressive by nature, but she becomes willing to fight back against the corrupt corporate system. This is the first book in a cyberpunk series that previously appeared on Royal Road.
