About this book

The narrator is in a relationship with a dragon named Lord Zavryd'nokquetal (Zav), and their life has become unusual. Zav offers to take the narrator to the elven homeland to meet her father and help her develop her magical abilities. Though she has concerns about his plan to force the elves to train her, she recognizes she needs all the advantages available. Vampire attacks begin occurring throughout Seattle, and the narrator's friend and business partner, Dimitri, goes missing. Her magical training must be postponed as she works to locate Dimitri before it is too late.
