Fatal Complications

Luke Daulton, a newly minted anesthesiologist, volunteers to help when a colleague's patient has an unusual reaction during surgery. Despite the surgical team's efforts, the patient dies from a rare anesthetic complication. Luke becomes suspicious about the outcome, questioning whether the diagnosis was correct or possibly fabricated, and wonders if his boss Dr. Katz is involved. Preoccupied with his new job and impending fatherhood, Luke sets aside his concerns. When his wife Kim requires a C-section, his fears resurface. He begins to suspect there may be a murderer or murderers at his hospital, and questions whether his wife's obstetrician is involved. When Kim's C-section goes severely wrong, Luke must act quickly to save his wife and baby while exposing a conspiracy operating within his hospital.
