Five Passengers From Lisbon

A locked room mystery set aboard a ship at sea. Marcia Colfax and her fiancé are shipwrecked while traveling to Buenos Aires. After being lowered into a lifeboat with the captain, two seamen, and fellow passengers from Lisbon, a rescue ship appears. Marcia awakens aboard the American hospital ship SS Magnolia, where she learns everyone was rescued except the captain, who is found dead in the lifeboat with a knife in his back. Marcia must determine who committed the murder—one of the seamen with a grudge, or one of the five passengers from Lisbon. The killer remains aboard the ship, a fact confirmed when a second body is discovered. As Marcia's voyage becomes increasingly dangerous, she must navigate the mystery while a murderer moves through the ship's decks.
