About this book

Fleet of Worlds is Larry Niven's first full novel-length collaboration set in his Known Space universe, created for the Ringworld series. Written with SF author Edward M. Lerner, the novel explores Human-Puppeteer (Citizens) relations and events preceding Niven's first Ringworld novel. Kirsten Quinn-Kovacs is among the best of her people. She serves the gentle race that rescued her ancestors from a dying starship, gave them a world, and continues to nurture them. However, the Citizens do not know where Kirsten's people originated. A chain reaction of supernovae at the galaxy's core has released lethal radiation that will sterilize the galaxy. The Citizens flee, taking their planets—the Fleet of Worlds—with them. Kirsten and her crew volunteer to scout ahead. Under the guidance of Nessus, their Citizen mentor, they explore for dangers in the Fleet's path and uncover long-hidden truths that will shake the foundations of worlds. This title is sold without Digital Rights Management Software (DRM) applied.
