Good Bad Girl: A Novel

Twenty years after a baby is stolen from a stroller, a woman is murdered in a care home. These two crimes are somehow connected, and a woman may hold the key to uncovering the truth. Eighty-year-old Edith has been placed in a nursing home and is planning her escape. Patience works there as a cleaner and bonds with Edith, though Patience is lying to her about almost everything. Edith's daughter Clio refuses to speak to her, and someone with questionable intentions is about to contact Clio. With deep reasons to distrust one another, the women must solve a mystery involving three suspects, two murders, and one victim. Their investigation may reveal what happened to the stolen baby, the mother who lost her, and the connections linking them all together. The novel features multiple twists and unreliable characters.
