Good Grief

Good Grief follows Sophie Stanton, a thirty-six-year-old widow struggling to rebuild her life after her husband's death. Rather than embodying the composed, graceful widow she aspires to be, Sophie finds herself coping through ice cream and wearing her bathrobe and bunny slippers to work. Determined to make a fresh start, Sophie relocates to Ashland, Oregon. There she becomes entangled in an unexpected situation involving a thirteen-year-old pyromaniac and an attractive actor whose presence stirs emotions she finds difficult to process. The novel explores how she navigates grief, loss, and the possibility of moving forward.
