Home Is Where the Bodies Are

After their mother's death, three estranged siblings reunite to settle her estate. Beth, the oldest, remained at home caring for their mother. Nicole, the middle child, has struggled with serious drug addiction and was kept at distance. Michael, the youngest, lives out of state and has not returned to their small Wisconsin town since their father left seven years earlier. While sorting through their parents' belongings, the siblings discover home videos and begin watching them for nostalgia. One VHS tape from 1999 shows footage they have no memory of: their father covered in blood, a dead body, and their parents making a pact to dispose of it before the recording ends. The siblings must now decide whether to leave the past undisturbed or investigate the dark secret their mother kept until her death.
