However, as a series of murders targeting SAS veterans occurs across the country, Samira grows increasingly fearful of Foxtrot's intentions. When Cal Harrison recognizes a pattern in the killings, he inadvertently endangers his own family. The novel culminates with Samira and Cal confronting their pasts as they attempt to protect those they love.
