About this book

Her investigation uncovers a series of long-buried secrets connected to a crime committed over ten years earlier—one so serious that those responsible are willing to keep it hidden at any cost. This is the first book in a series of Scottish crime novels featuring criminology lecturer Anna Scavolini. The novel was shortlisted for the Bloody Scotland Debut Prize and longlisted for the McIlvanny Prize in 2019.
