Inappropriate

A standalone novel from Vi Keeland. After nine years working for a major American company, the narrator is fired via form letter upon returning from vacation in Aruba. The termination stems from a private video made during her time off. Angry, she writes a letter to the company's CEO expressing her frustration with the organization and its practices. To her surprise, the CEO responds. The two begin corresponding, and Grant Lexington eventually realizes she was wronged and arranges for her to be rehired. However, he makes clear his interest extends beyond professional restitution. The narrator is reluctant to pursue involvement with someone so high in her company's hierarchy, particularly given his wealth, confidence, and attractiveness. She recognizes the situation mirrors the inappropriate circumstances that caused her original termination. Despite the complications, she finds herself drawn to him.
