About this book

Peace proves temporary. Terrorist attacks have severely damaged the CDF fleet in the Orion Spur, while reinforcements are delayed by the new administration's pacifist policies. Lieutenant Colonel Arthur Hanson and the CSV Margaret Thatcher find themselves isolated and without support. When word arrives of a mass hostage situation, Arthur pursues any available means to locate them, risking mutiny and court martial. With few Coalition ships remaining in the Spur, a rescue mission appears impossible. Yet Arthur refuses to abandon the hostages to their fate. Arthur and his Special Forces unit launch a hastily planned operation. They must act quickly to free the hostages and prevent catastrophe before time runs out.
