About this book

As Mary settles into the inn, she becomes aware of dangerous activities hidden within its walls and finds herself drawn to a man she cannot fully trust. The novel combines elements of shipwreck and murder, exploring themes of suspense and deception. It was adapted into a 1939 film directed by Alfred Hitchcock.
