About this book

Bailey King organizes a baby shower for Emily Keim, her assistant at Swissmen Sweets, in Harvest, Ohio. The event is decorated with lemon-themed décor and attended by townspeople including Juliet Brook and Jethro the Pig. Emily's estranged sister Esther Esh is invited as a last-minute guest. During the celebration, a mysterious Amish woman confronts Emily about a secret from her past—a child she had as a teenager who was given up for adoption. The woman disappears before Bailey can learn her identity or intentions. That evening, the woman is found dead in Esh Family Pretzels with a threatening letter written by Esther on her body. Emily is convinced her sister is innocent and asks Bailey to help prove Esther's innocence and identify the real killer.
