About this book

Jeeves, the narrator's personal attendant, is an extraordinarily capable man. When the narrator encounters Monty Byng wearing a grey check suit on Bond Street and decides he must have one like it, he obtains the tailor's address and places an order immediately. That evening, he tells Jeeves about his purchase. Jeeves responds by calling the decision "injudicious" and states the suit will not suit the narrator.
