Nobody

In this fantasy novel, a teen teams up with an assassin through chases, escapes, and sinister memories. There are people in this world called Nobodies. No one sees them or notices them. They live under the radar, forgotten as soon as you turn away. This makes them perfect assassins. The Institute identifies these people when they're young and trains them. But an untrained Nobody is a threat to the organization, so threats must be eliminated. Sixteen-year-old Claire has been invisible her whole life and missed by the Institute's monitoring. Now they've found her and send seventeen-year-old Nix to eliminate her. But when he sees her, he cannot complete the assignment. It's as if Claire and Nix are the only people in the world for each other—because no one else can really see them. The novel combines supernatural elements with action and romance.
