It follows two people who meet one night and share an intimate encounter involving whiskey, music, and each other's company before parting ways, intending never to meet again. Five years later, a twist of fate brings them back together. The narrator finds themselves in need of help that only Isaac can provide. Despite not wanting to feel attraction to him, the narrator finds their heart responding to his presence. Isaac's feelings are equally evident. Unlike their first meeting, circumstances have changed significantly since four years prior. This time, they cannot simply separate when morning arrives. The story explores themes of love, loss, and forgiveness as these two characters navigate their unexpected reunion.
