Runaway Groomsman

Sawyer Walsh, a Hollywood screenwriter, flees his ex-girlfriend's wedding after she marries his famous best friend. Unable to handle the media attention and emotional fallout, he escapes to Canoodle, California, where he rents a cabin from Fallon Long. Fallon runs Canoodle Cove Cabins, a family-owned business struggling with renovations and financial pressures. She initially dismisses Sawyer as a typical Hollywood type, but he gradually changes her perception. As they work together and grow closer, an undeniable connection develops between them. However, Fallon's family obligations and Sawyer's public notoriety create obstacles to their budding relationship. The story explores whether their romance can flourish in the small town setting or if the pressures surrounding them will prove insurmountable.
