About this book

In Spirits in the Wires, Charles de Lint returns to his city of Newford as it enters the Internet age. Newford hosts a popular research and library website called Wordwood. When Wordwood mysteriously crashes, everyone visiting the site instantly vanishes, including Saskia, the girlfriend of longtime resident Christy Ridding, who witnesses her disappearance firsthand. To rescue their missing friends, Christy and his companions must journey into Newford's otherworld, where they discover that Wordwood has a physical presence of its own.
